Many a times we inherit a system and add new features to it. Some features add a brand new screen or functionality that makes ATDD & automation much more feasible(?). Other features modify existing functionality and UI, takeaway some existing elements or add new elements. At this point teams go through rounds of discussions on what should be the reach and extent of ATDD. Should it cover only the new items being worked on or test some of the existing functionality?
