Colour of Change Network - just a reminder for those that might not have already registered for next week's - October 27 - john a. powell discussion on Race, Recovery and Belonging !

Again - co-sponsored by Colour of Poverty - Colour of Change - the session is open to anyone - not just those attending the OCASI ED Forum !

john a. powell is the Director of the Othering & Belonging Institute at the University of California, Berkeley, a research institute bringing people together to identify and eliminate the barriers to an inclusive, just, and sustainable society and to create transformative change toward a more equitable world. john is well-known for his work on “targeted universalism” and “othering and belonging” and is the author of several books, including his most recent work, Racing to Justice: Transforming our Concepts of Self and Other to Build an Inclusive Society. john co-founded the Government Alliance on Race & Equity ( GARE - both the Province of Ontario and the City of Vancouver are members ), is an internationally recognized expert in civil rights, civil liberties, structural racism and more.
