EcoRep Projects! (Aka Crusades)

Here are the "crusades" I have down so far. Please reply with what you
want to do.

Feel free to work together or to bounce ideas off each other in this
forum.

* Corey: outdoor recycling and plugs on the drains
* Lauren: drying racks—walmart doesn’t have them?!!? Get the bookstore
to stock them? Have people make them during jan plan? (Katie helping
out?) Dorm-wide white boards.
* Katie: bookstore—plastic bags! If you don’t use a plastic bag,
discount? Need them for textbooks? Alternatives.
* Sarah: meatless day in Foss!
* Keith: Lights—staying on in the dorms all night! Automatic sensors
in the dorms? Hallways. Being specific. Midnight surveys of lights.
Light switch plates.
* Rachel: paper towels
* Desiree: Green protocols for club leaders, event-specific. Career
services—reducing paper use.
* Sarah: Greening Pulver, setting computers to automatically print
duplex (across campus)
* Michelle: raising recycling awareness and compliance. Co-recycling

My current mini crusade: Paper bags in Caporale Lounge (grab and go
lunches) either get rid of them completely or give incentives to
students not using 'em!

Could we do something like the travel mugs, where reusable lunch bags
are supplied?
