Draft: Extended Best Practices for Government Cloud Computing

   Attached is an extended Draft of Best Practice Recommendations for Government Cloud Computing. It is divided into implementation, policy, and organizational recommendations with references. The primary  references are drawn from NIST, US Government, UK Government, European Community, TechAmerica's Cloud2, and the Open Data Center Alliance. Secondary references links are drawn from a wide number of sources. One extension is "Possible Support from Cloud Providers" for each Best Practice added to support the activities of the Cloud Standards Customer Council.  Another extension is associating  a link to guidance for each Best Practice.  This guidance is meant to be an initial step towards more detailed implementation patterns. An extensive set of Cloud pattern references are supplied at the end of the Draft. 

The purpose of this message is to make the content and references available to anyone who wants to use it.
