INVITATION TO KLEINMOND
We wish to extend an invitation to your Club to visit Kleinmond on Sunday 3 February 2019.
Clarence Drive from Gordon’s Bay to Kleinmond has been voted the most scenic coastal drive in the world.
Unfortunately when you travel Clarence Drive, you will see the devastation caused by the fire which swept through Bettys Bay this month.
This is the driving force behind our invitation to your Club.
Our proposal is threefold;
- Our local eatery will provide a full breakfast including refreshment (Halaal meal can be arranged)
- Your Club will be given preferential parking on the Main Road, allowing the Kleinmond locals to admire your motorcycles.
- All profits will be donated the fund supporting our local fire fighters.
The cost of the meal will be R150 per rider and R60 per pillion.
I trust that you will give this invite your consideration and that the Club will visit the jewel of the Overstrand in force (ps, we do not even have traffic lights in our lil village)
Should you accept our invitation, will you please be so kind as to give me an estimate on how many motorcycles will be visiting and a headcount for the meal preparation.
Kleinmond looks forward to hosting your Club.

Many thanks for your response and participation in our event, it is appreciated.
Traffic assistance can meet you at Harold Porter Botanical Gardens, Main Road, Betty's Bay. Traffic will escort to the eatery in Main Road, Kleinmond, parking spaces will be reserved.
Will it be possible for you to give me a rough head count by Friday for eatery purposes.
Our local councillor will be on hand to meet and greet.
I also need to arrange laser engraved commemorative keyrings for your members.
