February Concerts & Workshops @ The Clarke House
Clarke House Concerts
We have 2 great concerts (and a workshop) on tap for the last weekend
in February.
On Friday, February 24, Laura Cortese brings her Celtic fiddle and
wonderful vocals to the house for a concert that is not to be missed.
I met Laura at the Augusta Heritage Center in Elkins, WV last summer
during Old Time Week and she is simply a treat.
On Saturday, February 25, Orrin Star, national flatpicking champion,
will be in the living room for an evening of bluegrass standards, folk
gems, fiddle tunes and fingerstyle blues. And for the guitar players
on this list, Orrin will be giving a workshop on Sunday.
Both shows start at 8 PM with a $15 donation. Doors open at 7:30 for
desserts, coffee and tea. To make reservations, email me or call

Clarke House Concerts
