[Clarke House Concerts]

Several folks have recently sent me email about an upcoming concert
and asked,

"Hey Chris, can you forward this out to your house concert email
list?"

While I have done it in the past for other house concerts, or for
artists who have performed here, I have always tried to keep this
email list and my notes to you focused on concerts at our house, and
other house concerts of interest in San Diego. I will try and
maintain that focus and be respective of why you signed up in the
first place.

To help spread the word in cases where I've been asked to forward an
email announcement about a concert or an event, I've recently tagged
some posts to the web site as "News", and you can view recent posts
right on the front page. In fact, you can even post the news
yourself. If that interests you, just let me know and I'll set you up
with an account to do so.

There are several News items posted on the site now:

I want to continue to support all of you who are out there promoting
concerts, performing and keeping music alive in San Diego and
elsewhere. Booking has ceased at the Clarke House for the near
future, and phase 1 of the remodel started this weekend. :-) I'll be
spending a lot less of my time reading email in the coming months, but
I hope the ability to post News to the web site helps continue to
foster the music community in San Diego.
