In listening to the Herps of Texas
http://www.zo.utexas.edu/research/txherps/  frog calls, it sounds most
like the Northern Spring Peeper Pseudacris crucifer. Not a lot of call
notes in sequence - mostly just two or three at a time. The range map
doesn't suggest it quite this far west. The sounds we hear come from
as high up as 20 feet. I just emailed David Cannatella to get his
opinion.
