Independence Day BBQ 6:00 PM in Prospect Park

Sunday July 6th we will be celebrating Independence from those overbearing red-coated taxing without representing marmite-loving queen-fawning language mangling wig-wearing Brexit choosing dentistry challenged British imperialists.
(Please see bottom of page for a British response)

As in years past the BBQ will, G-d willing, be at our usual spot in Prospect Park. http://tinyurl.com/jdw86c9 (It would be great if someone would arrive early to secure the site)

Please feel free to show up early and enjoy the wonderful park.

Grilling should begin around 6:45 PM (should, being the key qualifier)

Extra food and drinks are always welcome, not-dogs are yet more welcome. (and we won't say no to some cold cash).

Please come one and all, bring friends and pets as well.
If you are musically inclined, please bring your instruments and incline.

The F train will get you there, take it to the Fort Hamilton stop.
If you are coming from Manhattan use the last car, coming from Brooklyn (south of the Ft. Hamilton stop) use the first car.
Exit on Greenwood ave. and walk three and a half blocks to the park, we will be fifty feet from the entrance.

There is a larger entrance fifty feet from there and is diagonally across from TD bank.

If you are available to bring the grill etc to the park please contact me.

If you cannot find it or for any questions etc. please call (917)803-9909

... and don't forget to think about all the things you could have been enjoying these last three hundred something years - the BBC, irony and sarcasm done properly, taxi drivers who know where they're going, proper wet fish shops, being able to get a drink in an art house cinema, a decent subway system, politicians who speak in full sentences not four word sound bites, I could go on.

Happy independence (and be careful what you wish for).
