How many folks out there are interested in seeing this google group
take on a higher profile?

I find the disappearance of the Chronos support forums to be incredibly
disconcerting. Getting quick answers, or just commiserating with other
users provided great support. I can only assume Chronos didn't like the
fact that things weren't going well, and thus they spent a great deal
of time with damage control, both with the PR component, and in
answering the large volume of questions.

I also have to assume that for a user, being able to "see" your
question posted in a forum is far more encouraging than sending it off
in an email and wondering when it would get noticed. Chronos could have
chosen a closed forum, one where you only see your own questions and
answers.

So to fill the void, if there is an interest, I'm willing to try to get
this forum a higher profile, so Chronos users can find each other
again.

Any thoughts?

It's a very good idea but how on earth are you going to get the Chronos
user list to invite them all here ?

If there was enough interest (there are 84 members of this group) then
a PR effort could be initiated. I doubt Chronos is going to share a
link with their users. It would have to be from the outside in, via
other groups (MacPIMs), Mac news sites, etc..

Perhaps the numbers at Chronos have dropped so significantly that the
folks on this list don't use the products anymore?? I guess the support
forums were active enough though (hadn't visited for a while). But it
seems like most other healthy software organizations have active
forums.

I just use (or rather have) StickyBrian/Notes. They finally made SB and
Notes the same product (which I asked for months ago) but have lost
interest, working with other solutions while hoping for a better
integrated PIM solution. Maybe at MacWorld? Or maybe I should just
switch careers.
