I sent in a request (well, actually several) for email support for SOHO
Labels & Envelopes several days ago. I cannot access the Masks and Clip
Art that was supplied with the program. I'm not a newbie user, and I've
been able to replicate the problem. And I've done a lot of self help:
correcting permissions, re-installing, installing on another computer,
etc. But I've gotten no response from them, not even verification of
receipt of my emails.

This is all very disconcerting. I actually LIKE the SOHO products, and
ironically, I've got far more prompt help from their discussion boards
in the past. In fact, my problem with L&E is precisely the sort of
problem that boards often solve: somebody else will explain what to do,
and I'm back on form.

I'm not one to bash companies or avoid products simply because of
complaints online; we all know you'll always get more complaining than
praising, particularly with something like syncing software where so
much can go wrong (I've never been satisfied with any of what's out
there, frankly). But I sure am displeased they have apparently ditched
all tech support, if my experience is any bellwether. Is ANYONE able to
get tech support??

Still no response from Chronos....

I did, however, solve the problem myself. With SOHO Labels & Envelopes,
at least, the "Clip Art" and "Masks" and "SOHO Labels & Envelopes"
folders that are installed into your root directory
(/Library/Application Support/Chronos) need to be moved to your user
directory (~/Library/Application Support/Chronos (that's in your "home"
directory). The installer readme says that you get to select which it
installs into, but that didn't happen when I installed.

Too bad Chronos doesn't have a board where I could post this so that
others might benefit from my experience.

That's why we're here, if folks want to use it.
