I just attended a conference at Carnegie Mellon University for K-12
Computer Science teachers. What a conference! The best one I've ever
attended.
All K-12 Computer Science teachers should consider free membership in
the newly formed "Computer Science Teachers Association" affiliated
with ACM.

There are exciting things happening with regard to developing standards
for Computer Science education.
