Military Dis Account A Facebook user claimed Spirit Airlines refused to waive a baggage fee for a soldier on leave and said they don't "cater to the military." All Aboard the Queen Scary A fake news web site published a story claiming that 53 people had died in a Halloween "hatchet massacre" aboard the Queen Mary. Anonymous OpKKK Anonymous-linked social media accounts claim to have discovered prominent politicians connected to the KKK, but they haven't yet released any confirming information. Secret Sisters Gift Exchange Popular "secret sister" gift exchanges are just a variant form of chain letters and are likely illegal. The Chicago Gun-Crimes Fake news reports that 318 people were shot in Chicago as part of a "Halloween purge." Chipotle Closes 43 Stores Following E. Coli Outbreak Multiple Chipotle Mexican Grill outlets in the Pacific Northwest have been closed following an E. coli outbreak. Winter at Bernie's A Facebook anecdote maintains that Bernie Sanders once charitably bought a homeless man a new pair of winter boots. Sunday Jest Pat Robertson didn't say gay people should wear colors by which heterosexual people might easily identify them. Oprah Zinger No, Oprah didn't buy BET and promise to make the channel "for black people" again. Optical Imoosion A photograph of a cow was digitally altered to make the animal's markings resemble a famous optical illusion. FALSE: Obama Launches First Salvo in War on Christmas The Obama administration will not allow people to send Christmas cards to military members serving overseas. Belakwa-Drama Blues There is no town of Belakwa, New York, and a sign lamenting its abandonment due to fracking was part of an art installation. Locker Gloom Accounts of a controversy claimed President Obama ordered a school to "allow a transgender boy to use the girls' locker room" or else lose federal funding.
