1. Are you saved from sin?
I think we are saved from our sins at the time we ask for forgiveness.
And this is only by the grace of God. . "Matt 1:21--- thou shalt call
his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."
We are saved from sin by the grace of God as long as we walk in the
path of Jesus Christ we are not saved if we get off the path and
follow the way of the world and we are still sinning.
"Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace
reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our
Lord."
"Eph 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and
sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this
world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit
that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we
all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh,
fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by
nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich
in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we
were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace
ye are saved;)."
The question?. Are you saved from hell.
I think that as long as we stay on the path of Jesus Christ we are
also saved from hell. Because the path of Christ frees us from sin
forgiven no sin no hell.
"Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace
reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our
Lord." Eternal life by and with our Lord Jesus Christ there is on sin
or hell.
"1 John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins;
and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not --- 9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth
in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."
But again I can’t find any reference in the Bible to being saved from
hell. We are saved from eternal damnationby the grace of God .Is that
the same thing? Am I missing something. I’ll have to think about this.
