*** Those resorts are much less attractive as Vail's resorts
Rocky Mountain Super Pass:

Mountain Collective:

*** Need to have enought vacation days and take many trip to ski them all
CONCLUSION -
If you are planning to ski both Japan and Alps, get the Epic Pass.
Otherwise, if you have want to ski Vail's resorts without going international, get the Epic Local Pass.
If you live in Bay Area, get Tahoe Local Pass.
MAX Pass is too expensive for skiing those second or third tier resorts with unrealistic ski day count.
Rocky Mountain Super Pass is in good price to ski those second tier resorts.
Mountain Collective is good if you can take many ski trips in the season.
IMHO, about the resort ranking, Epic and Mountain Collective are the best. If you can take two or more ski trips, and if you never skied the west before, Epic Local Pass is the one.
