📣 Dear Members and Friends of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce:
On April 27, 2024, at the board meeting, the election of the 2024-2025 executive board results are:
President: Sunny Duann, Vice President: James Oldham, Secretary: Samatha Uttach, Treasury: Justin Andrew. The ongoing retired board members are:
Anne-Marie Naughton, Eric Man, and Sue Xu. Other current board directors are Peter Simons, Lena Tan, and Qian Zuo.
We are excited to announce our Annual Meeting, Educational Seminar, and new Board installation on Saturday, June 22nd, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Tampa Grand Fortune Restaurant.
This year's seminar features four distinguished speakers covering three practical topics:
1. **Handling Property Insurance Claims:**
- Whether it's commercial or residential property, do you know how to effectively deal with insurance companies to get the compensation you deserve when you need to file a claim?
- Attorneys Matthew Danahy and Chad Young from Danahy & Dunnavant Law Firm will share their professional insights to help you avoid significant financial losses.
2. **Mid-Career Transition Success:**
- Mr. Lei Cheng, a senior chamber member, successfully transitioned from a computer programmer to a real estate broker managing 600 properties. Recently, he was awarded the "Tampa Real Estate Industry Rising Star" accolade.
- He will share his journey and discuss the future of developing mobile technology tools for property maintenance.
3. **Understanding Florida's Assisted Living Facilities (ALF):**
- Florida is renowned as a great place to retire, but what types of senior care facilities are available here? Is investing in this sector a good idea?
- John Johnson, an expert with 10 years of experience in ALF development and sales, will provide comprehensive information about the industry.
The event will be held at Grand Fortune Restaurant, serving a sumptuous 10-course meal. After the seminar, attendees interested in karaoke can enjoy singing to entertain themselves and others.
