* Jesus "Chuy" Negrete - internationally recognized entertainer and scholar. Chuy performs traditional corridos, the folk music of Mexico.

May Day is International Workers Day, celebrating struggles of working people around the world in the past and present. May Day represents the fight for a world based on people instead of profit and run by workers, not bankers. Join other workers, activists and organizers from around Chicago as we celebrate May Day. Workers of the world unite, we have nothing to lose but our chains!

Don’t forget about the 4pm event at the Haymarket Statue. The plaque to Iraqi workers will be unveiled as well as a dedication from the AFL-CIO and others including Republic Windows UE president.

Larry, jorge (from march 10th movement) suggests that we hand out fliers during the march encouraging people to attend. I'm glad to do this & to ask others to do so as well...
