May Day in Madison WI

Why Blacks And Latinos Must Struggle Together? Open Discussion
http://maydayinmadison.org/sites/default/files/clarissa.JPG

Greetings,
On behalf of Immigrant Workers Union, I would like to invite you to our open discussion which will be held at Vera Court Neighborhood Center.  The open discussion is this coming Wednesday April 15th at 7pm

One of our goals is to promote dialogue among the Black and Latino Community in order to understand that we share similar struggles.  Some of the topics that we would like to  address are universal health care, working to earn a decent living wage, increase funding in Section 8, a living wage for W-2 workers, real funding for public schools, and making it known to our local politicians that we are against the increase in bus fares.  These are just a few topics that will be discussed.

http://maydayinmadison.org/sites/default/files/black-latino.jpgNow is the time to take action and play a more active role in our community. We have to take a stand and let our local and national politicians know that we want justice and equality.  The only way to achieve these goals is to come together and put an end to the system which is trying to divide us.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions at  www.maydayinmadison.org or 1-866-476-0884.

Thank you very much and we will be looking forward to your participation on April 15th at 7pm.

Sincerely,

Clarissa Pearson
