Hello all, a friendly email reminder about POE FEST 2009 in BERWYN IL!

I am including a 4Color Flyer for you to send to your friends and family to invite them to our events. 

Be liberal. Invite EVERYONE YOU KNOW. Especially if they have children. The children's concert on Sunday will be fun. And the kids can wear costumes! Big kids get to wear costumes to Tamale Hut on Saturday. 

Thanks again for being a part of the fun! We will do POE proud on his 200th birthday!

EXHIBITORS:

For those of you exhibiting in the gallery, we will be hanging art:

Friday, October 24th from 10AM-1PM. 

Note: Last year it took all of 15 minutes (including finding a place to park) to complete the hanging process for an individual artist. You are part of a collective show featuring local talent. You are also part of a festival celebrating the macabre genre epitomized by our man POE. Next year the festival will feature a different icon from the arts that created similarly creepy work. We are considering Tim Burton. But that is next year. 

If you exhibited last year, I have bio info on you. If you are new to the festival and have not already sent one, please send me your bio info. I will be compiling the information for gallery labels. The exhibition booklet will not include bios (too much paper for our tight budget, not to mention my time restraints) but I would like to direct our patrons to your websites, so if you have that info and know that I do not, send it. When I begin that task, if I am missing info, I will email you directly. 

Please plan to attend the Gala on Friday, October 30th. Your work will be up for the week of the festival with most of the exposure on Gala night. You are not required to attend, but may enjoy the camaraderie of the other artists participating in the event. We hope you will join us.
