Omnicom's Tribal DDB Chicago has hired Kevin Flatt, well-known for his
pioneering work on the BMW Films campaign, away from Fallon. Flatt will
be the agency's new interactive creative director, filling a position
that's been open for about a year.

During Flatt's tenure as interactive creative director at Fallon, the
agency conceived such well-regarded work such as Amazon.com's Amazon
Theater and Virgin Mobile's Chrismahanukwanzakah site. He also worked
with clients Lee, Sony, Converse and Holiday Inn. Prior to working at
Fallon, Flatt held designer jobs at Duffy and at Nike.

Fallon could not be reached by press time to find out their plans to
replace Flatt.

When Flatt begins work at Tribal DDB Chicago next month, he will work
with brands such as McDonald's, Gatorade, State Farm, PepsiCo, The Home
Depot and JC Penney. The Tribal interactive creative director position
oversees approximately 50 creatives in Chicago and Atlanta. After Mark
Howell left the post and the industry, the agency has been seeking the
right person for the job.

"The relationships we have with these clients are quite large now, and
they deserve the best," Paul Gunning, managing director of Tribal DDB
Chicago, told ClickZ News. "I was more excited about calling the
clients two days ago and telling them about Kevin than about anything
else....To tell McDonald's you've got the creator of BMW Films and he's
going to work on their account [was thrilling]."

Tribal DDB Chicago does Web development, interactive advertising and
e-mail work for its clients.
