Hi, Interview for the position of Solar Grama Sales( 20th to 28th Feb 2013) (ORB Energy) 1. JOB PURPOSE * To coordinate with banks in identifying solar villages, then working with Orb Energy branch managers to conduct demos, sign-up customer, install, and saturate so as to declare a solar village (80-85% solar) * To report regularly and effectively to Orb"s banking partners to ensure they view Orb as their preferred solar vendor, and turn to us to help them meet their solar village targets DIMENSIONS * FY 2012-13: identify 75 villages / execute 20 systems per village / declare 25 solar villages * FY 2013-14: identify 100 villages / execute 25 systems per village / declare 50 solar villages * FY 2014-15: identify 150 villages / execute 30 systems per village / declare 75 solar villages PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES * Identify potential solar villages in co-ordination with Orb Energy"s branch managers and the branch manager / regional manager / head office of the supporting bank * Acquire customers in target solar villages through product demonstrations and follow-up sales initiatives * Ensure completion of required documentation (as mandated by the supporting bank) by customer before installation * Identify outlets who are willing to work to complete such documentation and assist with customer acquisition * Prepare the final list of customers for the bank, and ensure bank approval before going ahead with installation * Report the progress on solar village initiative weekly to the support bank and to Orb Energy"s head office EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS * 5-8 years of branch management experience; MBA a plus * Prior experience in sales; and ideally prior experience in solar sales * Demonstrated ability to meet monthly and annual targets * Strong understanding of working capital cycle and how to improve it * Experience in managing company standard operating procedures (SOP) * Willing to travel 20 days per month * Strong team player, able to build and motivate sales teams * Go-getter, who can take initiative and work independently * Energetic, enthusiastic.
