February Chesapeake YP Social Event

Chesapeake YP Members,

 

Following the storms last month which prevented many from attending, the Chesapeake Section Leadership had hoped to host a YP social in conjunction with ASNE Day 2014.  Unfortunately, with additional snow and a series of hospital visits on my part, I was unable to fulfill my responsibility for the month, and the event date has come upon us.  It is with great regret that I have to say that there will not be an official event for this month.  However, official does not need to mean that I am in attendance.

 

I encourage all SNAME members attending the ASNE Day 2014 conference to gather this evening to share your common interest in our industry and your dedication to the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.  If you are at the conference with non SNAME member colleagues, bring them out with you.  One such establishment that I would recommend is Jaleo which is located nearby to the conference venue.

 

Due to my inability to attend, I have opened this email open as a discussion to allow members to coordinate their own gatherings as fit.
