The CIA from the Baptist Church had a swimming party in Burnet last Sunday afternoon.

Jessica, Jamie and Jenna Ball spent the weekend with Jim and Melody Ball.  Robert and Sue Broyles were in New Braunsfels for the stock show last week.  Sydnie Suggs and Ali Hager were in Cherokee last week-end visiting Doug and Cyndi Suggs.  Jeremy Suggs also came to town to visit.  This was Sydnie and Ali's first time to make the trip alone.  Trey and Kristi Dobbs had an open house last Sunday.  They have finished remodeling the house they bought in Nix and wanted everyone to see it.

Maridell Johanson had a heart attack last week.  She had triple by-pass surgery in San Antonio.  She is doing fine.  Harold and Maridell live in LaVernia.  Harold said that the grandkids were doing a great job taking care of her.  John Clark had his heart shocked last week and it went well.  He has more energy now.  Susan Magil had a cat scan last week and there is no change.  She is looking good and feeling better.  Larry Windham's mother had a wreck in Lampasas last week.  She is doing fine after the wreck but will go to Temple Tuesday for tests.  Nettie Jean Randolph received good results on her tests last week.
