What a lovely message............From Tyler Perry

I have this tree analogy when I think of people in my life, be it friends, family, acquaintances, employees, co-workers, whomever...
They are all placed inside what I call my tree test.
It goes like this:
LEAF PEOPLE
Some people come into your life and they are like leaves on a tree. They are only there for a season. You can't depend on them or count on them because they are weak and only there to give you shade. Like leaves, they are there to take what they need and as soon as it gets cold or a wind blows in your life they are gone. You can't be angry at them, it's just who they are.
BRANCH PEOPLE
There are some people who come into your life and they are like branches on a tree. They are stronger than leaves, but you have to be careful with them. They will stick around through most seasons, but if you go through a storm or two in your life it's possible that you could lose them.
Most times they break away when it's tough. Although they are stronger than leaves, you have to test them out before you run out there and put all your weight on them. In most cases they can't handle too much weight. But again, you can't be mad with them, it's just who they are.
ROOT PEOPLE
If you can find some people in your life who are like the roots of a tree then you have found something special. Like the roots of a tree, they are hard to find because they are not trying to be seen. Their only job is to hold you up and help you live a strong and healthy life. If you thrive, they are happy. They stay low key and don't let the world know that they are there. And if you go through an awful storm they will hold you up. Their job is to hold you up, come what may, and to nourish you, feed you and water you.
Just as a tree has many limbs and many leaves, but few roots, so are human beings too!!
Look at our own life. How many leaves, branches and roots do we have?

What are we in other people's lives?

*THANK GOD FOR THE ROOTS and may we BE A ROOT TO MANY!!*

Dear Chopra saheb....
Sir...start sending some eye-opening......messages......i mean,......real knowledge about SELF. It will be useful to all.
Actually we all are so much engrossed in this mayavi world that we have forgotten our real IDENTY.
We are SPIRIT...rest all is inert..MATTER.
Without touch of spirit..Matter..JAD...is worthless.

Today i read one very good line in a friends message...

He writes.....

Master the Mind and become...MASTERMIND.

I find it very interesting line...as our mind is Monekey mind...always..jumping from one idea to another.

What are your views...sir?

MM ji,

Agreed.

Each one of us has a unique mind that may have a tendency to move from one thought to another - from one desire to another - from one emotion to another, quickly and frequently.

Since ancient times, (and even in modern times) it has been recognized that a focused mind can achieve much more than a 'monkey' mind.

From the spiritual perspective, peace of mind is directly related with its 'stability' and 'maturity'.

Peace of mind is the first step towards opening the vast universal realm of deep spiritual experiences. It is something like - when the water is dirty or agitated, the bottom of the pond can not be seen. (bottom of the pond, in this case, refers to the deep spiritual identity).

Hence mastering the mind is an important first step.

In my humble opinion, trying to forcefully control the nature of mind rarely leads to mental peace and spiritual growth.

One of the simpler methods is to 'simply observe the flow of thoughts' as they arise - without trying to control or suppress them - in a simple, quiet meditative composure. Although in the beginning, it is possible to get carried away by the thoughts into a kind of day dreaming, an alert and continuous practice will lead to reduction of thoughts and calm the mind to a state of peace.

Remember, this peaceful state of mind is not only good for spiritual growth, it is also good for living a happy life and for taking wise life-decisions on a daily basis.

regards,

Harsh

Dear Harsh Ji....
You have correctly mentioned that if we fight with mind..we will not succeed . Rather we should just watch...Being just witness...sakshi bhav...thoughts coming and passing......
Slowly calmness...shanti dawns upon us.
Meditation bhii shayd isi ka nam he.......

Our aim in this world should be......to explore the happenings taking place around us...and to search the reason thereof.
Our Rishis/Sages/ Seers  did this many centuries back and have given us their findings in  form of Vedic scriptures. Upnishads are cream of all such Divine knowledge. And Gita is summary of all upnishads.

The Brahma -Vidhya is.........ONLY HE/GOD exists.......there is no other except HIM.
The world is sapna...a dream. We are part of Him...God itself. But due to maya shakti of him..we forget our real REALITY. We assume body, mind, world as real..giver of happiness and pleasure....which finally prove a illusion. To realize that..this all is MAYA--ILLUSION......is Self-realization.....Moksha.

Have I understood correctly....Harsh Sir?
Kindly guide me.....

M M Goel
