The wise Lubabs are still posting at our old Yahoo group, Chabad770,
(see
http://www.geocities.com/Chassidut/1Chabad/Sub.html for subscription
information)
I do want to migrate the group to googlegroups.
In the meantime, I suggest that you stay here AND join the other group.

I think the Google format is the best and easiest, it's about time the
world of cyberspace in general become Googled! Hatzlacha!

Google is great. That's why I started the Chabad group here. However,
it's still in beta stage, and there are some important features that
are missing.

Meantime, I'd like to let you know that I moderate more than 100
different Jewish groups. I'd like to invite you to join some of them.
Yes, most of them are on Yahoo, but I hope to move all of them as soon
as I can.

You can check out the list of some of the most popular groups at
http://www.geocities.com/ourjewishgroups/2TheForums/Interest.html
I'm in the process of making a website about my chassidishe groups as
well, at http://www.geocities.com/Chassidut. That website is not really
ready yet, and I'll welcome any comments you may have.
Have a guten Shabbos and a freiliche Chanukah.

Just remember it's a big name, Google is taking over the market
quickly, the longer you take, the less professional it will eventually
look, just like you're current ones, no bad intended.

Right.
However, Google itself is still not ready for the big time. I cannot
moderate googlegroups by e-mail, so I won't be able to migrate my
groups here yet. It's too time-consuming to manage groups the way
Google is set up now. In addition, I cannot remove messages from the
archives. By mistake, I did not set up one group for moderation, and
spam got through. There is no way yet for me to delete it from the
archives.
