Happy Easter!

Julie’s Corner

We are an Easter people, and Alleluia is our song!

I love this time of year.  I wait until Holy Saturday to put out my Easter decorations and then leave them out while everyone else is taking them down.  The Spring flair reminds me of the new life of Spring and the rebirth we celebrate in Easter.

The stories we will hear on Sundays for the next few weeks will focus our attention on the new life the apostles experienced and will lead us up to the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

What “new life” are you experiencing in your faith journey right now?  And how will you prepare to celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit?
