Hello Young Adults (and YA Ministers) of Dallas!
Ash Wednesday is less than two weeks away, and I’m excited to announce that the Young Adult Council is launching Dusty Catholics again this year across the diocese! For those of you who aren’t aware of what we did last year, Dusty Catholics is our Lenten Outreach effort to young adults. This year, Dusty Catholics includes three parts: Ash Wednesday, the Dusty Catholics website, and our Dusty Catholics Gathering Events. For more information about these three parts, see the attached “About” page.
What can you do?? Glad you asked!! We have business cards that you can use to hand out in your parish to invite young adults to our Lenten Young Adult Website: www.dustycatholics.com. This website will guide young adults to an online Lenten spiritual journeys, as well as inform them of parish Lent activities. Additionally, we will be hosting a Dusty Catholic Theology on Tap Night as well as a weekend retreat for young adults.
