Casey Anthony will be back in court Friday morning as lawyers argue new motions in the case.  The hearing was supposed to begin at 9:30, there has been a delay.  It should begin shortly.

9:38 Casey arrived in shackles wearing a blue collared shirt.  She spoke briefly with her lawyers before the hearing started.  Casey has five lawyers representing her today including death-penalty lawyer Andrea Lyon, California lawyer Todd Macaluso, and Jose Baez.

9:42 Macaluso tells the judge that there is evidence that Caylee's body was placed at the scene after Casey was already in jail.

Macaluso says Equusearch volunteers did search the area where Caylee's remains were found and their records should be handed over to the defense.

9:46 Macaluso says Equusearch volunteers have information that proves Casey is innocent.

9:51 Mark NeJame, representing Tim Miller and Texas Equusearch: request made by Casey's defense is "absurd."

NeJame argues only people who searched the area where Caylee's remains were found are subject to having their information provided to the defense.

NeJame: Defense taking "shotgun" approach to getting information on searchers.

Defense should only be allowed to have the records of people who came within 200 yards of the site where the remains were found - by NeJame's account it's 32 people.

9:59 NeJame says Tim Miller should only be deposed by Casey's defense if they narrow the scope of their inquiry to information on the 32 people that searched the area where Caylee was found.

10:05 Dr. Lyon now speaking for the defense.  NeJame and Equusearch don't know what evidence they are looking into regarding searchers.  Just beause they think there are only 32 searchers that are relevant "doesn't mean we will see it the same way."

Judge: Are you looking for people that were searching in West Orlando or the Econ trail?

Lyon: We want to look at records and decide which are relevant.

NeJame: The issue is if any of this is going to make public.  If defense want to pay to come to my office to look over records, "that's fine."

Judge will look over motions and make decision later today or early next week but he is "leaning" towards siding with defense.

10:19 Judge will now hear motion regarding the phone records of Casey's ex boyfriend Tony Lazzaro.

10:22 Mr Jay representing Tony Lazzaro: We agree to produce phone records for June 1 - July 15, 2008.  After that, Lazzaro severed communications with Casey and his phone records are irrelevant.

10:30 Jose Baez: Lazzaro acted as a confidential informant for the sheriff's office after July 15th, he also took investigators around town pointing out locations related to the case.

Baez: "His involvement in the case goes beyond July 15th."

Judge Strickland rules to grant defense access to Lazzaro cell phone records from June 1, 2008 to December 18, 2008.  He can come back to ask for emails and texts messages in the timeframe.

10:43 Baez calls George Anthony to the stand to discuss a motion seeking to quite Leonard Padilla and his crew.

Casey wiped away tears as her father takes the stand.

George Anthony: Padilla and his crew provided security for Casey when she was released from jail on bond.

Padilla's involvement was a "publicity stunt" but "necessary evil."

10:49 Linda Drane-Burdick now questioning George Anthony for the prosecution asks him in what capacity Padilla worked with the Anthony family.

10:58: George Anthony tells Casey "I love you" as he leaves the stand.

11:04: Baez: Padilla entered into confidentially agreement and shouldn't be allowed to talk about what he heard in time with Casey and family.

11:10: Baez: Padilla did more than act as a bodyguard, "he was an agent of the defense."

11:34 Defense and prosecution arguing whether Padilla and his crew were agents of the defense or merely working as a security guard for the family.

11:37 Judge says he will take arguments into consideration and rule later.

11:38 Judge will now hear arguments regarding setting a date for Casey Anthony's fradu trial date.

11:39 State: Baez is working more than 20 other cases and is not "too busy" to try fraud trial.

State: Amy Huizenga, alleged victim in fraud case, is ready for trial and so is state.

11:45 Lyon: We not saying this case shouldn't go to trial, just that it shouldn't happen before the murder trial.

Judge says he will consider arguments and issue ruling at a later time.
