Dog Found - Do You Know Who Lost Him?

One of our neighbors found an adorable scruffy little brown dog 24
hours or so ago.

The dog is house-trained, and sweet as pie. We weighs between 10 and
20 pounds, I'd guesstimate. He also gets along fine with other dogs
-- he walked right up to our big Shepard mixes and our dreaded
Chihuahua mix.

Do you know to whom he belongs? If not, would you like to adopt him?
The young man who found him is about to move to a place that doesn't
take dogs. He's posted "found" posters, but no one has responded.

If you e-mail me at Walte...@mac.com, I can e-mail you a picture of
the dog. He's very nice. We'd take him ourselves, if we didn't
already have a full house.

Whoever has the dog at the moment should take him to a local animal
hospital to have him scanned to see if he has a micro-chip. Most
animal hospitals offer this. There is a good one on Venice one block
east of the Helms' Bakery Building, and another good one on Venice
near Overland.

I heard back from the finders:

1.  No chip.

2.  Hasn't been neutered.

3.  They took him to the dog spa today, and he looks fab-u-lous!

 

If anyone out there has been thinking of getting a dog, this would be a great opportunity.  He's REALLY cute.  And house-broken.  What's not to love?

I live in Wilshire Vista and while out on my walk this evening I
noticed flyers posted for a lost dog. The dog is small, a Jack Russell
mix, white and brown. The flyer says to call 323-936-7244.

It's probably him.

Let's hope they get a tag and a microchip and a neuter job!
