Hi Neighbors,

Mark you calendars - Tuesday, March 4, 7:00pm @ Temple Beth Am. I've
reserved a room for us to have a meeting about what is going on in the
neighborhood.

After the miner was stolen from the park, many of you sent me e-mails
or phoned me, expressing a desire to become more involved in the
neighborhood. Here's your chance!

For the last few years, the Neighborhood Association has been pretty
low key. There were only a few people who were actively involved in
the day to day running of the neighborhood, doing things you probably
didn't even notice. But now there are a few things that need to be
addressed, and I'd like to give those of you interested a chance to
match your talents to the needs of the neighborhood. This isn't the
Annual Meeting, but rather a chance to sign up to be block captain,
help with replanting some of the median strips, and share your
thoughts on things ranging from the Pico/Olympic one-way proposal,
vandalism in the neighborhood and whatever else is on your mind.

The Annual Meeting will be held later in the spring, and for that we
will put up signs and deliver fliers to all houses. For this meeting,
it's just an e-mail to everyone in the data base. PLEASE share this
info with your neighbors, and urge them to attend. I have about 150 e-
mail addresses, so this message is only going out to about 25% of the
neighborhood. I'd like your help in spreading the word.
