Saving Sacred Spaces
Join YPA as we welcome our friends from Partners for Sacred Places in Philadelphia and the Steeples Project in Johnstown, as well as a panel of local experts, for a discussion on adaptive reuse of historic religious structures. The event will be held at The Priory on Pittsburgh's North Side, a prominent example of a repurposed historic church.

See our event page for details. Food and a cash bar will be available. A $5 donation at the door is suggested. We hope to see you there!
Main Street Now Conference Happy Hour
Kick off National Historic Preservation Month with YPA! We’ll be celebrating Main Streets and the people who love them by hosting a Happy Hour for the Main Street Now Conference at the oldest operating bar in Pittsburgh, The Oyster Bar in historic Market Square. Come help us teach some out-of-towners about YPA and what we are doing to usher in the next generation of preservation in Southwestern PA and beyond!

Tuesday, May 2nd. 6-8 pm.
20 Market Square, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Light appetizers provided.
Cash bar (In true Pittsburgh fashion, they don't take cards).
Allegheny Commons Pedestrian Bridge
The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is applying for a grant whose scope includes replacement of the Allegheny Commons Pedestrian Bridge, a 2014 Top Ten Site. They're looking for as much support as they can from the community to boost their chances of securing the grant, and you can help!
Click here to voice your support. This project won't be funded without your help!
2017 Preservation PA At Risk List
Last month, our friends at Preservation Pennsylvania announced their annual PA At Risk List. 2017's list included two recent YPA Top Ten sites. Learn more about these and other threatened sites on this year's list!
We want your feedback! Please complete this brief survey as we develop future events and programming around saving places in southwestern PA!
