Job Title: CDMA / RAT Verification Engineer

Location: Redwood City, CA
Start: ASAP

Need a CDMA Field Test experienced engineer who can use CDMA Equipment’s as well as familiar with the client's requirement, Analyze the test cases and Run Lab testing with an equipment.

Below is the JD:
We are looking for a RAT engineer to join our PLD SW verification engineering team. He or she will also be responsible for validation of Modem RIL of SE mobile and analyzing the log/data to ensure the quality of Modem RIL SW. He or she needs to understand SW and HW implementation as well as theoretical analysis of the protocols, products. Also, should be running pre-test to pass through for all industrial certification including but not limited to CCF, GCF, PTCRB. A RAT engineer will also run customer test plan prior to Lab Submission to ensure that the features related to Modem RIL is working to pass. A RAT engineer needs to run RAT-IOT at the field to make sure that there is no any abnormal behavior of mobile for Modem-RIL at any field condition.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Knowledge of cellular technologies CDMA 1x/EVDO on network and mobile side.
* Deep Knowledge of 3GPP2/3GPP signaling specification.
* Deep Knowledge of Qualcomm Tools and a strong ability to analyze QXDM Log.
* Experience in development or testing of call processing procedures on CDMA and/or LTE.
* Experience in running the 3GPP/3GPP2 conformance test case, CCF and GCF/PTCRB on Spirent c2k, Anritsu 8480
* Experience in creating the test scripts on Spirent C2K and Anritsu RTD and Anritsu 8470 C script environment.
* Good understanding of US and International Mobile Operators test spec, test cases and execution on live and simulated networks
* Debugging connectivity and call drop issues, analyzing data throughput issues and other product performance issues related to Modem/RIL.
* Experience in using network simulator such as Agilent 8960, Anritsu 8470, CMU 200, and Spirent C2K
* Experience in creating cellular test automation for Smartphones on network simulators
* Knowledge of Mobile architecture and Radio interface layers or any other smartphone OS is preferred.
