We have our fourteenth $100 winner for our weekly contest! Will Norton on a Carbony C Whistle. You can watch the video here https://www.facebook.com/CarbonyCelticWinds/posts/3307861102590860

Will wanted to share a little bit about himself:
I live in southern Vermont where I play Irish Flute and Whistle in local pub sessions, explore the Green Mountains, and teach high school physics. I grew up in Massachusetts in a family of musicians and began learning to play music on the Saxophone. I was introduced to Irish traditional music on a high school marching band trip to Ireland, and got my first whistle shortly after that trip for my birthday and began to teach myself by listening to recordings.
I attended Colby College where I studied music (focused on tenor saxophone), and physics. At Colby I met Nicole Rabata who taught me to play the flute and to learn tunes and ornamentation by ear. After college I found it easier to continue playing Irish music in pub sessions than to find groups to play saxophone with as I worked various outdoor recreation positions with difficult hours. Now that I teach, playing flute and whistle at weekly sessions has helped me achieve a more healthy work-life balance.
I discovered Carbony whistles at the Acadia School of Traditional Music and Arts Festival in 2018. I enjoy the mellow sound of my C whistle and appreciate its light weight for taking on backpacking trips such as Vermont's Long Trail, where I earned the trail name "Pennywhistle”.

And a reminder on how Carbony Celtic Winds is operating during this unique time:
We are open for business, but to minimize exposure we are no longer giving factory tours or in-person instrument demonstrations.
We have suspended traveling to festivals, games, and shows until further notice.
We are continuing to make and sell instruments through our website, amazon, our distributors and retailers.
I know many of you were hoping to see me this spring and summer. It is always nice to be able to try instruments before buying and the Carbony booth was the ideal place for making your decision. In light of this; we will be offering free shipping worldwide (promo code: FSHP) on all orders and initiating the 30-day return policy on the date the instrument arrives at your door instead of the purchase date. This provides you a no-risk opportunity to try the instrument as if you were at my booth at your local festival.
We also now have DHL courier delivery for international orders and ask about having the duty prepaid to get the instrument to you with no delay.
