Today's carbon pollution from Russia is the worst in the world

Today’s satellite images show huge combustion signals (CO, NO, particulates) in Siberia, dwarfing pollution from the rest of the world.

 

These sites appear to be oil and gas wells. It is not clear if they are deliberately flaring methane, intense forest fires, or missile and drone attacks?

and as attachments views for today and the 17th (getting worse).   About 1000 km horizontal.   Able to blow up a lot further.    Nice site.   Heavy clouds on the 16th.
