Hi all,

We're currently building an initiative to focus on technological greenhouse gas removal at scale (carbon dioxide removal, methane, nitrous oxide, etc) and we're looking for a senior strategist to lead this initiative. In addition to rapid emissions cuts, we must remove greenhouse gases from the atmosphere if we are to have a fighting chance of meeting the Paris Agreement’s goals. And yet public and private investment in GHG removal is far short of what is needed, despite growing investment in some approaches like direct air capture and storage. The Bezos Earth Fund is looking to advance promising technologies and drive public and private investment. While the Earth Fund does have a significant restoration portfolio, this position focuses on technological carbon removal.

Please apply as soon as possible.

Please consider taking a moment to spread to your networks - that itself can have an incredible follow-on impact.

In collaboration,

~Noel

Jeff Bezos made a $10 billion philanthropic commitment in 2020 to fight climate change and protect and restore nature in this decade while advancing environmental justice and economic opportunity. And thus was born the Bezos Earth Fund, representing the largest philanthropic commitment in history to fight climate change and nature, with all funds to be disbursed by 2030.
