Good Morning
I am also looking for something better than what i have which is nothing
but a pile of papers laying in the floor by my desk.
I look forward to hearing about any alternative method.

TC,
I use Microsoft Access for this and have created fields for all the data
from the articles including the abstracts. Then I file the printed
articles by the primary author's last name. The earlier you start it
the better so you can add articles as you pull them up online.
Regards,
Pete Alexander

Hello All:
Does anyone know of a good alternative to the old two deck 4x6 file card
method for organizing and summarizing articles pulled for a dissertation
literature review? With PC's doing virtually everything now-a-days,
there has to be a more time efficient alternative.

Thanks for the creative suggestion. I have used Access before some time
ago.
There is a bit of a learning curve, but it is a powerful program.
