Hi All

I am planning to take 7000-level course in Winter 2006 quarter. I like to choose from one of the following:

OM7040 - Accounting & Financial Management

(instructor: )

OM7020 - Marketing Strategy & Practice

(instructor: )

OM7050 Ethics & Responsibility

(instructor: )

OM7060 Strategic IT Management

(instructor: )

Can any one tell me that how is the load look like for the above courses?

Also, if any one of you wouldn't mind please sharing with me your experience with the instructor then it will be great.

I am thinking to take two courses if the load is manageable.

Thanks

Hi Kashi -

I am planning to take 7000-level course in Winter 2006 quarter. I like to choose from one of the following:
OM7040 - Accounting & Financial Management

I am taking this course now and it's pretty straightforward especially if you have taken a finance course before.  I have Dr. Huber and he locks the discussions Monday a.m. and doesn't post the next week's discussion until Monday a.m. - very odd.    So I think that this is a bit odd but he seems alright otherwise.

This course is not too time consuming (actually rather easy).

OM7020 - Marketing Strategy & Practice

I found this course to be the easiest course I have taken so far because it was so similar to strategy.  I had Dr.  LeVesque.  He's laid back.  He also offers a much easier final paper for a grade of B, which I almost opted for but the course was so easy that I went for an A.

OM7050 Ethics & Responsibility

Loved this course!!  Lots of work because it was my first quarter but I learned a lot and really enjoyed the material.  I took Dr.  Evans - she's fantastic!!!!  My favorite prof so far.

You should be able to take 7040 and 7020 together without much problem if you get good profs.  If you have ever taken a philosophy class then ethics will be a piece of cake.

Regards -

Susan
