Hello all,

Intrepid volunteer Sara Sevy will be leading three hikes over the next few months, including one this coming weekend.  Hope you can come out!

Sunday February 19, Rayhouse Road
To carpool from Winters, meet at the Winters Community Center near the gazebo at 9 am. Drive to the Cache Creek Regional Parks trailhead on Highway 16 and arrive around 10 a.m. to meet up with others. Cross the low water bridge and hike 5 miles up to the ridgeline, enjoying spectacular views of the Blue Ridge, Fisk Creek Canyon, Glascock Mountain. Eat some lunch up top and head back down. 10 mile round trip.

Saturday March 17, Zim Zim Falls
Meet at 9am at the Winters Community Center Parking lot, located at Railroad Avenue and Main Street, behind the gazebo.  Drive to the trailhead on Knoxville Road and arrive around 10:40am.  Hike to the falls and arrive around noon.  Have lunch on a small knoll just down the slope from the trail.  View the falls in all their splendor until folks want to leave and hike back down the way we came. The trail crosses the creek 8 or 9 times, so you may want to hike in rubber boots, or wear or bring shoes that can get wet. Round trip 7 miles.

Sunday April 8, High Bridge Trail
To carpool from Winters, meet at the Winters Community Center near the gazebo at 9 am. Drive to the parking area on Highway 16, approxomately 3 miles past the Colusa County line, on the left side of the first bridge over Bear Creek, arriving around 10 am. The trail switchbacks up to some ponds where we'll have lunch, then loops back down for a total of 10 miles.

Happy trails!
