2 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (add milk or chicken broth to
make 3 cups liquid)
Melt butter in a saucepan. Add flour and salt and stir until smooth.
Stir in the soup-water mixture. Bring to boiling point, and boil 3
minutes.
VARIATIONS:
You may add mushroom pieces to this. Also add 1/2 cup green peas for color.
