This was pleasant news to me. Winnipeg is, like several Canadian
cities, home to a growing community of comics professionals. I worked
with two of their number a few years ago on my first published
project, and it'll be good for that city to have a regular gathering
of likeminded people, pro, amateur and fan, if well-run. Here's the
