Since Google seems to be in the process of doing away with their
Groups as we've known them, is there anyone here who wants to keep
this going with the membership we've got, but in another web venue?

And apparently, eight years later, my post seems to have been an overreaction on my part.
Our group is still available to us. If we wish to make use of it.
