So have any of you downloaded the new version of Camtasia Studio?

1. Not sure about you guys but I really like going back to the
"Classic" controller.
2. How do you share production profiles or can you?
3. I have enjoyed adding a horizontal scrollbar to my TOC content.
Not a new feature but just adding a tag to the XML config file.
4. Do any of you have issues playing larger tutorials from the web? I
click on the play button and nothing happens. Once I click and drag
the seek bar the play begins. See example
http://www.projectstreamer.com/users/fifteenips/flashobject/3%20min.%20check.html

It's early so I'm off to work.

To clarify on number 4 it only happens when viewing the video the first
time (downloading the streaming file).

I agree with # 4. This is an issue with the upgrade. Seems like every
version creates another issue with the Flash generated files.

Hey, folks, I'm the Flash developer at TechSmith so you can direct your
venom directly at me. :)

We're aware of this issue and are working to identify where the problem is.
One of the difficulties is this was never seen during development and
testing by anyone is TS or in the beta testing program. Its only been after
release that the problem has come to our attention and the difficulty is it
doesn't consistently replicate. I never see the problem on my desktop at
work, but I sometimes see the issue on my laptop. If I fetch files that are
having this problem out of my cache and post on a project streamer account,
I don't see the problem on my laptop anymore.

Fortunately or unfortunately we're doing a lot of Flash development these
days and as we add features the level of complexity rises and the
opportunity for bugs arises. Unlike most web development, I don't have the
luxury of being to make on the fly modifications to web content when
problems arise.

Again, my apologies--please send comments and concerns to:

b.an...@techsmith.com

Regards,

Brooks Andrus
