This is my first post. Normally I use Camtasia Studio CS 3.1.2 for my
work eLearning courses. I'm a trainer and teach telecommunications
technicians how to troubleshoot VoIP issues at the telephone switch
level. But--I'm also a choir director at my local church. I thought
of a unique way to teach my choir all the different parts (soprano,
alto, tenor, bass) for a new mass setting we are doing. I input the
music into a program called "Finale" which is a professional scoring
software application. Once I have the music and words written out for
all the parts, I use the "play" function and also do a screen recording
from Camtasia Recorder. Later I make .wav files from each of the line,
plus combinations of the different parts, and then put it all together
in Camtasia Studio. This is the result:

The choir can click on this hyperlink and then learn their part as they
see the music scrolling across their screen. They can also hear how
their part sounds with or without the other voice parts.
