For some strange reason, I cannot get the .swf file to work on the
web. I can open the file directly in flash player on my machine, or
open the file directly in the browser, but the second I attempt to put
it in a webpage, or put it on our server and access it, it does not
work.

Any ideas what might be going on? I triple checked the object HTML
and, as far as I can see, it looks good. So, I am not sure why it
isn’t working.

Thanks,

Cathleen

John,

Thank you for responding. I found a solution in Techsmith's Camtasia
support section:

"You may need to update the server's MIME types to support the Flash
(MP4,SWF and FLV) formats. We have seen several instances where some
Web servers (including ISS and Windows 2003) do not have the current
MIME types configured. This prevents the Flash content from being
served properly."

Incidentally we never had to go through this because magically the
next day it was working!
