As I read this message, I realize that I will not be able to attend
our reunion either. Don made plans to attend a CME conference in
Portugal during these exact dates. I realize that the Reunion date
changed and in this change it became a conflict with our reunion. I do
regret that we will miss this wonderful occassion. Both Don and I are
well. We both are still working. On 7/11/09 we becamse grandparents of
twin boys. This makes a total of 4 grandchildren. Our son Michael
(Mike) has two children- one daughter 10 years and one son 5 years
old, and now our daughter Sheley has given birth to twins. Mike is CFO
of the auto racing company in Daytona Beach, Florida. Sheley up until
now is a Dental Hygienist in Monterey, California. She and Scot have
recently moved here to Bakersfield so that Grandma Edna and Grampa Don
can help with that big undertaking!

I too would be willing help in financing a video of some of the week-
end events especially our Class Meeting. If this becomes possible,
please let me know so that I can contribute as needed.

So many of you have worked to make this week-end a memorable and
wonderful time, and again I regret that Don and I will be unable to
attend.Thank you all for your time and effort in arranging the plans
for our Class. Don and I both send our sincere and heartfelt love to
Marilyn Fritsch and Bob Grosboll.

As I read all the e-mail addresses of my classmates, I realize how
knowing you and spending those wonderful years in your company
enriched my life. I do hope we can have this Class reunion once again
in Heaven. For now I send you all that attend good wishes, blessings
and joy. If any of the class wishes to visit, we can meet any of you
in Bakersfield or at our home in Newport, California.
