Sunday's psycho hailstorm officially has been declared a F5 tornado:
http://community.livejournal.com/falconridge/113130.html (see
http://www.tornadoproject.com/fscale/fscale.htm) for the F(ujita)
scale and what it means.)

Just so you know what you, and the Budgiedome, survived. :)

At first we heard tornado then when we checked ourselves there was no mention of it. At least this explains all those little people that appeared around the dome after the storming singing something about a witch being dead. I asked them to play the Budgiedome next year. They must really like Dunkin' Donuts. The name of the group is the Munchkins.

Namaste,
Gordon

No, it wasn't an F5 tornado.  We wouldn't be here right now if that was an F5 tornado. (We would probably be dead.)  The text label on the radar map said "F5", which was just a name assigned to the storm when it was tracked.

It wasn't even a tornado, since there was never any "touchdown" of a funnel cloud on land.

Okay, thanks for the clarification on storm name vs. tornado scale.  I couldn't figure out how something with 70mph winds could be an F5, given the F scale, (much less how my trailer didn't go winging to Munchkinland), but I figured Anne's been too busy to give all the explanatory details.

I wonder if a funnel did form and touch down elsewhere, hence her confirming it as a tornado.  As I was watching it move I kept wondering to myself "but where's its tail?  Where is the damned tail?  Oh s*&t!!!!"
