UNARMED ROBBERY
3900 Blk. North Charles Street
(4 Blocks North of Campus)
July 4, 2006 - 1:30 AM
On July 4th at 1:30 AM, a junior undergraduate walking alone was
accosted by three unknown males whose vehicle had moments before passed
him and turned onto Wendover Road. One of the males struck him in the
face with his fist and grabbed his wallet. The suspects then went
through the victim's pants pockets and fled with his wallet and IPod.
The suspects were last seen driving away eastbound on Wendover Road in
a black compact sedan with a temporary license tag. The victim declined
medical attention. Baltimore Police and Campus Security searched the
area with negative results.
Description of Suspect:
1. Black male, 15-25 yrs, 5'8", 170 - 180 lbs., medium
complexion, braided hair and wearing a white T-shirt.
2. Black male, 15 - 25 yrs, 6' - 6'1", thin build,
short hair and wearing a black T-shirt.
3. Black male, no further description.

At night, whenever you can, use the escort van service instead of
walking. As you walk, be alert for any vehicles which may by following
you until you reach a better place to carry out a robbery - a place
more secluded, with less chance of witnesses being around. If you
suspect a vehicle is following you, keep distant from it and walk
quickly to a busy intersection or an open business establishment.
Timely and accurate crime reporting is critical to crime prevention.
Report all criminal incidents promptly to the Campus Safety and
Security department or other security authority.
Program the Security Department's phone numbers into your cell phone.

ARMED ROBBERY
700 Block West 33rd Street
July 9, 2006 - 3:20 AM
On July 9th at 3:20 AM, as two graduate students walked home from a
convenience store, a mini-van stopped in front of them. Two unknown
male suspects stepped out of it; one pointed a shotgun and demanded the
students'
property. The victims relinquished their wallets to the suspects who
ran back to the purplish-blue van which then drove away eastbound on W.
33rd St.
No injuries. Baltimore Police and Campus Officers responded.
Investigation
continuing.
Description of Suspect:
1. Black male, 150-160 lbs., dark complexion, wearing a light
T-shirt and carrying a shotgun.
2. White male, 5'8" tall, 150-160 lbs.
3 & 4. Two black males who remained inside the purplish-blue
mini-van.
