The following incidents were reported by Johns Hopkins University
Security over the past weekend

Armed Robbery - (1 Block East of Campus) - Unit Blk. East 32nd St.
at St. Paul St. - On Oct. 29th at 10:00 PM, as an alumna was
unloading groceries from her vehicle two unknown females confronted
her, displayed a handgun and demanded her purse. Once relinquishing her
purse the suspects entered a dark blue or black four door sedan and
drove south on St. Paul Street. Baltimore Police responded.
Investigation continuing. Street lights were out in that area and have
been reported to the city and BGE for repairs. See Security Bulletin

Armed Robbery (Near the Eastern Campus) - 3200 Blk. Ellerslie Ave.
at an alley on the west side - On Oct. 28th at 4:15 PM, while
walking in the block two sophomore undergraduates were approached by
four unknown males who were in the alley. One of the students was
assaulted with fists and a stick and his wallet taken while the other
student was restrained. The four males fled on foot. Baltimore Police
and Campus Officers responded and searched the area with negative
results. Ambulance medics treated one student for minor injuries at the
scene. Investigation continuing.

Burglaries (Private Residences):

· 2600 Blk. St. Paul St. - On Oct. 28th at 1:00 AM, a JHMI employee
startled a burglar as he was entering through a 2nd floor bathroom
window. Upon seeing the resident the intruder fled. Campus Officers and
Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing.

· 2700 Blk. Maryland Ave. - On Oct. 28th at 3:24 AM, a grad student
discovered a male intruder in her apartment. When confronted the
intruder fled out an open window. Baltimore Police responded.
Investigation continuing.

Theft - 3200 Blk. Remington Ave. - On Oct. 26th between 6:30 AM and
3:30 PM, the exhaust system on a contractor's vehicle was cut and its
catalytic converter removed. Baltimore Police responded. Reported Oct.
27th. Investigation continuing.

Assault by Threat - 3400 Blk. N. Charles St. - On Oct. 28th at
11:55 PM, a freshman undergraduate reports she was confronted by two
unknown males, one of whom made offensive remarks while brandishing a
stick. The suspect was pulled away by the second male and the two
walked south on Charles Street. No injuries. Investigation continuing.
Reported to Security at 12:33 AM Oct. 29th.
