ARMED ROBBERY

September 19, 2006 - 4:30 PM
As an employee and her daughter, an undergraduate, were entering their
vehicle, a male armed with a knife entered the vehicle, demanded and
took currency. The suspect fled south on St. Paul St. No injuries.
Campus officers and Baltimore City Police searched the area with
negative results.
Investigation continuing.
Description of Suspect:
White male, 40's, 5'9", 170lbs, shaggy brown hair with gray, white
shirt with blue pinstripes, black trousers. Armed with a knife.

* Do not argue with an armed robber and risk serious injury: safety -
wise, it is better to relinquish the property demanded. Without being
obvious about it, try to form a detailed memory of the robber's
appearance so that you can make positive identification afterwards.
Give the impression to anyone who may be watching you that you are
alert and watchful. At night, use the escort van service instead of
walking.
