The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show is a very fun consumer
event that will take place at The Washington Convention Center on
Saturday, November 4. Among the 34 terrific presenters, notables
include Jamie & Bobby Deen, stars of Road Tasted on The Food Network,
Barbara Fairchild, Editor-in-Chief of Bon Appetit Magazine and Walter
Scheib, the former White House Chef. Other special features include
Wine & Beer Tasting Sessions, Interactive Cooking Sessions, and over
150 exhibitors showcasing and sampling many different foods, beverages,
tablewares, etc. This is a great opportunity to get a jump start on
holiday shopping and entertaining ideas.
We have managed to work out a special deal with the Show Management
Company for Clarkson Alumni to attend a Wine & Beer Tasting Session
that will take place from 1 pm - 3 pm. A special price of $36.00
includes general admission to the show and the Tasting Session. There
will be over 100 different wines to sample and 25 beers.
